when characters come out of nowhere and take over the story. Then I just tag along. It’s like getting a free ride on a roller coaster, with your hair on fire (or imagination); and you just hang on and enjoy it for as long as you can, or until the story ends There is nothing like writing. And no one can teach you how to write. You, and only you can do it your way. But I can tell you how I do it. I can talk about my process. I can give you examples, and show you some of my stories. I can even offer up suggestions on things to try. But in the end, you’ll have to write. No one can do it for you. Write for yourself. Put your words on paper. Do it your way. That’s how you learn—the only way!
